Growing pains
A number of problems cropped up in the past week.
- There was a spike in our website traffic and we had to upgrade our server to accommodate it. This caused the Downtime mentioned in the previous post.
- Because of the upgrade, our sale event was disrupted and many missed the chance to make purchase. The event was sold out within the short span of 2 hours.
- While migrating our system, our invitation system had some issues and some invitation emails were repeatedly sent.
As I’m writing this post, our tech team is working through the weekend to solve the technical issues. We have received a number of complaints and I’ll like to assure everyone that they have all been taken into account and we are trying our very best to make sure that such problems do not happen again.
We will continue to improve and hope to seek everyone’s kind understanding and support.
